The Museum Library
As one of the art reference libraries servicing students and researchers in the Northern region of Israel, the library houses approximately 10,000 books and catalogues. The collection focuses both on Jewish art and artists and Israeli artists, with a comprehensive collection on the development of Israeli art.
The collection was expanded in 2001 when Meir Agassi, Israeli artist, art critic, and literary figure was tragically killed in a car accident. He had bequeathed his personal art collection to the library.
The library is for reference only and does not lend books.
Michal Salant, the librarian, offers reference services on appointment only.
